Aluminium wire can be supplied as pure Aluminium or in different Aluminium alloys.
It is used in both mechanical and electrical applications.
In the former, its light weight, corrosion resistance and a range of useful tensile strengths offer design advantages over plated steel wires.
For electrical applications, it is its light weight, low cost and electrical conductivity equivalent to copper that offers the most potential, particularly in the manufacture of high voltage overhead electric cables.
Our main Aluminium and Aluminium products are:
- Multi-end wire – 0.12mm to 0.50mm diameter.
- Single wire – 0.12mm to 9.50mm diameter.
Electrical applications include:
- Flexible, coaxial and data cables.
- Cable screening or shielding.
- High voltage cables, All Aluminium Conductor (AAC) and Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR).
- Cable armouring.
Mechanical applications include:
- Braiding
- Metallization
- Staples
- Woven wire net, cloth and grills
- Rivets and screws

Produced according to Standard IEC 60889:1987. Aluminium wire is made from aluminium wire rod that complies with ASTM B233:1997 Standard Specification for Aluminium 1350 Drawing Stock for Electrical Purposes. It is used widely in the fields of electric wire, cable, motor elements, and overhead line conductors.
Alternatively, we can produce to other National and International specifications as required.
